This plant used to be known as Arthrophyllum diversifolium botanically. However, the 2022 Singapore flora checklist had indicated that the botanical name Arthrophyllum diversifolium ("auct. non") was misapplied to this plant (page 186) in the past. The correct accepted name should be Arthrophyllum jackianum according to the latest plant checklist. As Arthrophyllum jackianum was considered to be the synonym of Polyscias jackiana, I had therefore adopted the name Polyscias jackiana in my website.
